In 1982, the visionary Captain Eduardo Cortes became the forerunner of aerostatism in Mexico when he fulfilled his dream of founding the factory dedicated to the manufacture of balloons, Sepansa Ballons. This factory is the only one in Mexico that is certified in the development and manufacturing of Hot air balloons since it was founding and is located in the city of Tequisquiapan, Queretaro.

CIGA (Balloon Balloon Instruction Center) which instructs
and trains future balloons pilots through a fleet of 23 balloons and with a work team formed by six theoretical and practical instructors authorized by the General Directorate of Civil Aeronautics and Vuela en Globo the company dedicated to creating experiences through hot air balloon travel which has different packages to offer
